Illuminations is a site specific installation with photographs, writings, objects, sound, projection and scent. It premiered in 2014 at the Ivy Brown Gallery and the Roger Smith Hotel in New York City. In 2002, Florence's relationship was slowly falling apart and while trying to save her relationship, Florence began photographing her partner and herself every night. The camera shutter was left opened for 3 to 8 hours every night in their darkened bedroom. It is a private journal, documenting time and memory, where present meets past. Collectibles include C-prints, limited edition book and fragrance.
